We have arrived. A first class plane ride. A San Jose city bus ride. A walk down Avenida Central and an earthquake registering 6.2 on the Richter scale.

Thank God you guys had to miss your flight the day before... A 6.2 earthquake wouldn't have been fun.
Looks like your short delay worked in your favor - talk about timing! I woke up early (5:00 a.m.) and decided to check the news. Earthquake in Cost Rica ! Hey isn't that where they went?! Felt chest pains and hyperventilation coming on! So glad you are o.k. Maybe there is some need there and you guys can pitch in. Hope it's warm and wonderful. Major artctic blast here! More snow on the way.

What a great start to your adventure, first class seats and and earth quake. Great stories or the makings of a good book! We decided after worrying about you guys, and the ice and snow here that we would fly south for a winter week. We are off to Sanibel! we love you.
